Hi Anthony,
I am so happy to hear you are considering setting sail with Captain Mickey for your next vacation! There is so much
included with every Disney cruise, and each ship has something special to offer. That is what makes choosing between the
various itineraries the hardest part!
For the most up-to-date information on what the travel requirements are, I strongly recommend you check the
Passport and Travel Documentation link on Disney Cruise Line's website. This page will have all the particulars, and more important, it will also be updated in case changes are made to these requirements by the U.S. State Department.
Currently and subject to change, the following list includes itineraries that currently require ALL Guests (including children) to have a valid U.S. passport:
Alaska; Europe; Transatlantic; Pacific Coast, Pacific Coast, Canada or Hawai'i – One-Way Cruises (Sailing from: San Diego to Vancouver or Vancouver to San Diego, Vancouver to Honolulu, Honolulu to Vancouver); Disney Magic-Canada Cruise from New York on October 17, 2020; Southern Caribbean Cruises that Visit Martinique on the January 26, 2020 Sailing Aboard the Disney Wonder and the June 27, 2020 Sailing Aboard the Disney Fantasy; Transatlantic Crossing from Dover to New York; and Transatlantic Crossing from Miami to Barcelona.
For all other cruises, Disney Cruise Line will accept the original or a copy of an adult Guest's state-issued birth certificate AND Government-issued photo ID; and for children 15 and under, an original or a copy of their state-issued birth certificate and no photo ID is required.
My best tip: talk with a
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist who can determine if there are any other documentation issues for your desired itinerary.
Have fun planning your magical getaway! Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have more questions.
SEA ya real soon!
