Hi Laura thanks for stopping by planDisney. We are glad you stopped by with your question. Making sure this is all taken care of before you arrive is important, so let's help you get the kiddos all linked up.
My Disney Experience App is my go-to tool for planning all of my family's adventures. It sounds like you have awesome family members if they brought your kids to "The Most Magical Place on Earth." They would have managed your child's plans and
MagicBand+ if they are under the age of 13. What you will want them to do is remove your child from the "Family & Friends List" so that you will be able to add them to your list. Once they are removed you just have to go to your My Disney Experience App and simply add them to your list. The MagicBand will only be able to be used by your child so once you add them the MagicBand will be able to be managed as well. From there you can link any "Tickets and Passes" to the correct family members. If for some reason you aren't able to link them you can always
call the My Disney Experience Team, they are ready to help with the app and any issues you might encounter with MagicBand or MagicBand+.
While we are on the topic of My Disney Experience App there are a few more tips that all park-goers should be using. I love time savers while at the parks and this one is one of my biggest time savers that doesn't cost a dime extra.
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering is available at a bunch of locations so you don't have to wait in a traditional line to order your food. This app will let you select the time you would like your food to be ready. If you know what time your meals are you can plan at the beginning of the day. Or if you are like me we eat when the belly says it's time, so we just pull up the app while on queue for a ride. Place the order right before we board whatever attraction we are on and make a beeline afterward to scoop up our food from the restaurant or snack stand we choose.
Thank you again for stopping by and if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to visit us again!
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
