HI! Our kids, 10 and 7, love to pin trade with cast members. For us, its an extra way to join in the magic, make new friends, or pass time in line. In fact they enjoy it so much I am wondering if there any special events or pin trades geared to kids only?

Our family are die hard pin traders. There was an event in November called Festival of the Masters.  It's actually held in Downtown Disney, and its more than pins, there are art collections, but its for all ages, the kids can create amazing art pieces, there is a boatload of live music, and activities galore.  There are dance parties in the afternoon for the kids, your kids can learn how to draw Disney characters.  Amazing chalk artists, and even watch someone paint unbelievable pictures as you watch...
It's free too, so just park and enjoy!!  It was at the Festival of Masters the kids unknowingly found 2 really rare pins, and successfully traded.

If you go to Disney Pin Traders, located in downtown, Marketplace, you can trade pins and more pins, its really great.   As pin trades for kids??  If you see a cast member with a green felt  background, at least that was the color when I was there last, they can only trade with children.  Have fun!!!
