Hi Rachel!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort soon! Your Mouseketeers are going to have a dino-mite vacation. I visited
T-Rex at Disney Springs over the summer where I learned some first-hand facts and tidbits straight from the horses, err - Dinosaurs, mouth.
Yes! Everyone is welcome to come inside and marvel at the sights and sounds of this primeval world. Some dinosaurs and fish tanks aren't easily accessible to visit as they are behind guest tables. However, those who are not dining in the restaurant can view the meteor show from the shop area, which happens about every 25 minutes. There's also a
Build-A-Dino by Build-a-Bear Workshop, so your little paleontologists can bring home a new dino-toy-rus friend.
Did you know that there's a whole section in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park dedicated to dinos? DinoLand U.S.A. has dino rides and games, a time-traveling high-speed adventure, a fossil fun dig site, a life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton, and even a prehistoric dance party featuring some of your favorite Disney pals! When you work up a
Dino-sized appetite in this land, head to Restaurantosaurus, which is the home base to a bunch of paleontology students who are out on a dig and is full of all kinds of neat gear and dino do-dads. Kids' meals here are even served in a sand pail, which is both a keepsake and a tool for the dig site.
Your kids are going to have so much fun that they'll sleep hard and dino-snore all night long!
We'll See You Real Soon, Rachel!
