When kids were little we could get by on snacks and small meals at WDW. Now as teens they eat ALOT more! Is Dining plan a big money saver and which would you recommend, Quick service or Delux for 2 16year old boys (plus Mom and Dad)? Thanks!

    Hi Jodi!

I absolutely LOVE the Disney Dining Plan. It saves my family so much money on dining each vacation and it's just so convenient! It's so much more satisfying to simply swipe a card each time you enjoy a meal, treat or snack than to constantly be pulling out cash or credit cards, ringing up a tab!

If your boys are big eaters, and you enjoy enjoying a Table Service meal more than once daily, then the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan is definitely the way to go! On this plan you'll each get 3 meals per night of resort stay at your choice of quick service or table service dining locations, plus 2 snacks per person per night of stay. The snack credits are great for additional beverages throughout the day, a morning cappuccino on the way into the park, or of course - a Mickey Ice Cream treat while enjoying a parade or a break! The credits are all pooled in one account and you can use them as you wish throughout your stay on anything from a fun, character meal to a 2-credit Signature dining experience or Dinner Show or even a simple, quick service lunch in the parks as you go, go, go!

My family has many favourite Disney Dining locations that we simply can't miss each trip. As such, the Deluxe Dining Plan works well for us and we enjoy a reserved, table service breakfast and dinner on each day of our magical vacation. For lunch, we usually do something quick.

If you know that you don't want to be reserving 2 Table Service meals daily, then stick with the regular Disney Dining Plan. On this plan you'll each have 1 Table Service, 1 Quick Service and 1 Snack per night of stay.

Both the regular and deluxe plans now include a Resort Refillable Drink Mug per person.

If you have any more questions you need answered to help you decide which plan will be right for you, I welcome you to visit me again any time!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Jodi!
