We have 3 kids who are light eaters, when we book reservations for dining i booked for every person. Do i have to order a meal for each kid? Will i be charged even if i don't order 3 kids meals, just 2?

    Hi Marcia,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. The number of people on your reservation lets the restaurants know how many seats to set aside and how to plan the meal's logistics. At most table service locations, that's all the number denotes. You are charged based on the food you order, and you are free to order as many or as few meals as you choose.

I've often asked for an extra plate to share meals with my daughters. Sometimes, my husband and I will even share an entree without any issues. Walt Disney World restaurants are very accommodating.

There are exceptions, however. At each of the buffet restaurants, including those with character dining, you will need to pay for every person age 3 and older. You also will need to pay for each person at the dinner shows, such as the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans. Enjoy!
