I have 3 kids 12,9 and 7 . Can you help me decide which water park best suits for them . We're planning only 1 whole day to stay in water park, both of them are so cool and yet I need a piece of advice base on your experience. This is our first time . TY.

    Hi, Rosario!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question. Both Walt Disney World water parks provide hours of fun in the Florida sun for families, including lazy rivers and a large wave pool in each park. However, the wave pool at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is a gentler version of the one at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, which is actually strong enough to simulate waves for surfing lessons. Both water parks feature raft-style rides the whole family can enjoy together as a group, but the rafts are larger and the ride is longer at Disney’s Blizzard Beach. It also offers single body slides and inner tube rides for adults, teens and older children. I think Disney’s Blizzard Beach may be the better choice based on the ages of your kids since it is the only water park that has a designated area geared toward pre-teens and bigger kids called Ski Patrol Training Camp.

Another fun must-do for many families is to visit the mini doughnuts stand. These yummy treats are freshly-made daily and sold by the dozen or half-dozen with raspberry, chocolate or white chocolate sauce for dipping! I hope this helps, Rosario. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have as you continue to plan.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
