Ahoy, Lisa!
I'm so happy to hear that your daughter is excited about visiting the awesome
Youth Clubs on your Disney Cruise! My kids love to spend time in the clubs, which gives my husband and I plenty of time to explore the ship on our own. The highly-trained Youth Counselors are so energetic and fun, and make sure that all the kids are engaged, entertained, and having a great time. Our youngest has even been known to skip dessert to head to the Oceaneer Club after dinner. She's our child that I swear could live on sugar alone, so that's saying a lot!
The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are actually connected, and your daughter will be able to move freely between the two once she's checked in. No worries about having to move her every 30 minutes, she'll be able to participate in back-to-back activities with no problem!
Each day, you'll receive a "Personal Navigator" - a newsletter with a detailed schedule of all the fun happenings on the ship. You'll be able to see a full schedule of all the activities going on in the Oceaneer Club/Lab throughout the day. We like to bring along colored highlighters so each member of the family can highlight their "must-do, can't miss" experiences. We enjoy discussing our plans as a family, and allowing the kids to choose activities that appeal to them.
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question, Lisa! Please let us know if you have any more questions as you plan your Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
