My kids were gifted tickets by an aunt in Florida - not attending with us; separate regular tickets for the adults. Kids tix were bought using the “gift” selection. Does the aunt still need to show ID to activate? I’ve been told no due to “gift” selection

    Howdy Linette! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh Boy! How can I get myself one of those Magical aunts? She sure did spread her Pixie Dust to your children.

Rest assured, your aunt does not need to be present to activate your gift tickets. There are three steps to picking up your gift tickets, depending on your situation.

To pick up the gift order at the Main Entrance ticket window:

The gift recipient will need to present the gift receipt and a valid government-issued photo ID. The name you provided for the gift recipient must match the name on the ID. If the recipient is a minor, the minor's parent or legal guardian will need to accompany the minor and present a valid government-issued photo ID.

I am including a direct link here on the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Walt Disney World Resort website pertaining to your inquiry.

Just a friendly reminder you must have a park reservation prior to your visit in order to visit the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort.

    Happy Planning,
    Cindy
