Hi Moms! Our kids have been getting Disney GCs for special occasions for use on our WDW vaca. Can we charge their souvenirs to the KTTW and then pay off with GC? Thinking of not carrying GC when in the parks and instead keep in resort safe? Thanks!

    Hi Diane!

You can definitely do that, though I suggest not waiting until the last day or checkout, because by then your credit card will have been charged, though Disney can still reserve the charges and apply the Disney Gift Cards.

A better solution, however, would be to front load your Key to the World Card with the Disney Gift Cards.  Basically, when you check-in, ask the Cast Member to immediately put the balance of your Disney Gift Cards on your account.  Then when you use your Key to the World Card, it will be deducting that amount immediately.

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
