Welcome to planDisney, Dina! I'm always happy to see fellow Guests from my home state of Washington here, and it'll be my extra-magical honor to help you with your question.
Disneyland Resort is for everyone, from your littlest Mouseketeers to the kids-at-heart no matter their age! Indeed, Guests age 3 and older will need to have both a
theme park ticket and a park reservation to be able to visit a Disneyland Resort theme park. However, since children under age 3 do not require a park ticket, there is no way to attach a
Lightning Lane pass to their admission. So, as long as they are accompanied by an adult in your travel party who does have a Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass for the attraction and they meet the height requirement, they should be able to enjoy the attraction without any issue! I hope this is useful information, Dina!
Since you are traveling with little ones, I want to mention something that was a game changer for my family when my kids were toddlers.
Baby Care Centers are located in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park and they were such a welcome, relaxing escape when my kids and I needed some time to decompress from the hustle and bustle! They are a clean, quiet location for diaper changing, feeding, and attending to the needs of the littlest members of your group. You can find their location by using the map feature in the
Disneyland mobile app.
Dina, bringing your kiddos to Disneyland Resort is truly magical, from their first churro, to a hug from their favorite Disney character, to watching the wonder on their faces when the fireworks light up the sky over Sleeping Beauty Castle. I wish you absolutely unforgettable memories with your loved ones. If we can help with anything else that comes up while you continue your planning process, please don't hesitate to come back to
planDisney.
Magically yours,
Tishra
