Hi, my kids and I are flying from Boston on 1/29/12 and due to arrive @MCO @ 2:30pm. We are staying @ POR and have 4:25 res. @ 1900 Park Fare. Do we have a good chance of making it. Any sug. wld be great?

Hi Aline! I love that you're planning to start the fun almost as soon as your plane lands in Orlando! Dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and friends is a great way to kick off your Walt Disney World vacation! I would, however, recommend you push your dining time a little later if possible. Disney's Magical Express will deliver you from the airport to Port Orleans between one and two hours from the time your plane lands. If you're using Disney transportation to travel from Port Orleans to the Grand Floridian for dinner, you'll want to give yourself an hour to get there. If your plane is late or your Magical Express bus stops at other resorts before yours, I'm worried you won't be able to make it to dinner on time. If you move your dinner reservation an hour later, you won't be in such a frantic rush.

If you're unable to secure a later reservation at 1900 Park Fare, then you could take a taxi from Port Orleans to the Grand Floridian and get there in 15 minutes, as opposed to the hour you'll need for Disney transportation. Also, definitely let Disney's Magical Express handle your luggage so you don't waste time at the baggage carousel.

Be sure to try some of the cold strawberry soup at 1900 Park Fare -- it's so refreshing!

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're always happy to help!
