This is my kids first trip to disney(girl,9) (boy,7).We are staying at the "Polynesian Resort" is it a good resort for kids.

    Hi Chris,

The Polynesian is a fantastic destination to call home during your Disney vacation.  My family enjoyed a wonderful trip here last August and my kids (ages 5 and 7) loved staying here.  This resort is a deluxe property, and has wonderful restaurants (Ohana, Kona Cafe and Captain Cook's), a beautiful, well-themed volcano pool, a stunning lobby and entrance way that will have you second guessing weather or not you are in Hawaii, and spacious, well-appointed rooms with fantastic amenities.  In addition, "The Poly" is located on the monorail line, which makes getting to and from Epcot and Magic Kingdom super convenient.  You will also have easy access to the other Magic Kingdom area resorts (The Contemporary and Grand Floridian), making their fabulous restaurants great choices for your family's meals while on vacation.

We had an opportunity to attend the Spirit of Aloha Show while we were at the Poly last summer.  This Disney-style Polynesian luau was a wonderful way to end the perfect Disney day.  I recommend considering adding a night here to your family's itinerary!

    Have a great trip!
