Hi there, Alexis! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
It's a dream of mine to take my students to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Although I haven't tested this out as a teacher or as a parent (yet), get ready for good news ahead!
You will be able to link your kids' park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Once you get the tickets, visit the
Walt Disney World Resort website and select the ticket, reservation, or device (like a MagicBand or
MagicBand+) that you would like to link. Once you've logged into your My Disney Experience account, enter the ID number or Will Call Confirmation Number for up to 10 tickets or passes. You may also link your kiddos by adding them to your
Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience.
While, your kids are at Walt Disney World Resort this summer, you will be able to purchase Disney
Genie+ and/or Individual Lightning Lane at the beginning of each of their theme park days starting at midnight and 7 a.m., respectively. Because I assume that your kids are under the age of 18, you'll need to make the purchases for them. Guests between the age of 13 and 17 can have their own My Disney Experience accounts, but they won't be able to make purchases in the app.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you'd like for them to use
Memory Maker, a way to capture moments while they're with their bandmates, you are able to download the photos of up to 25 members who are on your My Family & Friends list. This is a great way for you to follow along with their journey regardless if you're there chaperoning having your own fun or if you're back at home in Texas.
Alexis, if you have any further questions regarding the band's trip to Walt Disney World Resort or when planning your own magical vacation, feel free to
revisit us here at planDisney!
Magic always,
LeAndra
