Going with my kids and their families, including 5 grandsons, ages 1-3. Want to plan, but so much info is online. Should we limit to 2 parks-Magic & Animal? How do we know where characters will be and what do you recommend as best "plan" fo

    Hello Lynn!
Believe me, when you get to enjoy the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort with your grandsons, all the research and planning will be well worth it. This past year I got to experience the parks with my grandson for the first time and- in his word- it was AWESOME! Without knowing how long you will be visiting it is difficult to identify how many parks you should visit. Since it sounds like you would like to have a well thought out plan (which I highly recommend) I suggest you check out touringplans.com. For a reasonable cost you will be able to access predesigned touring plans as well as create customized plans as well. The site also has a huge amount of information to help you plan.  As far as character experiences go, the Disney website has a pretty inclusive listing.

Of course, when you have questions you can always come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel- we love to help!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
