Can my kids eat here and is it a good place to go with kids in the lounge at space 220 in Walt Disney World

    Hiya Natalie,

Thanks so much for rocketing over to planDisney with your Space 220 Lounge question! This out-of-this-world dining experience is one of my family's absolute favorites in EPCOT — not just because of the stellar menu, but because the entire experience truly makes you feel like you’ve blasted off into space. In fact, it felt so real that my daughter once told her classmates she had lunch in actual space — and honestly, I couldn’t blame her!

So Natalie, let’s blast off right into your question! Space 220 Lounge is absolutely a great place to bring kids — it’s family-friendly, visually stunning, and filled with interstellar surprises. Whether seated in the Lounge or the main dining area, you’ll have a perfect view of Earth from above, floating astronauts, and even the occasional space dog or satellite drifting by the windows. My girls are always wide-eyed, spotting something new floating by!

The Lounge has cozy tables that can seat up to four guests. Honestly, my family often prefers the Lounge because of the flexibility and the delicious small bites on the lounge menu. A couple of our favorites? The Chicken on Waffle and the Astro Deviled Eggs — delicious, even for the pickiest little space rangers. And here’s a magical tip: if someone in your crew prefers the prix-fixe meal offered in the main dining area, just let your Cast Member know. They’ll usually allow you to mix and match menus, so everyone gets exactly what they’re craving — talk about the best of both worlds!

After your celestial meal, don’t miss the Advanced Training Lab on your way out. It’s perfect for your little astronauts-in-training to explore, play, and burn off some post-meal energy before you head back down to Earth (or at least back to the rest of EPCOT).

Natalie, I hope this answered your question and that you and your family have a truly space-tacular time! If you have any additional questions, feel free to zoom back our way anytime.

    See you real soon,

    Christina
