Greetings, Mariam! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
I think it is so wonderful that you will be bringing your little ones to the Disneyland Resort to celebrate the Holidays! This is a truly magical time to visit the parks and I know lots of special memories are in store for your family. My first tip is to start each day as early as possible as crowds are lowest in the mornings. If you are staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, then you can take advantage of
Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay. This allows you to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park one hour early. Check the
park hours for your travel dates to see which park is offering Extra Magic Hour each day of your stay. If you are not staying on-site, but have a three-day or longer theme park ticket, then you have one Magic Morning available to you which grants you entry to Disneyland Park one hour early on designated days.
Since you'll be traveling with young children, I recommend researching which
attractions the children will be able to ride and which ones they may enjoy the most. There are many attractions without height restrictions, so the whole family can ride attractions such as Peter Pan's Flight, "it's a small world" Holiday, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many more. Your son might also be tall enough to ride some of the larger thrill attractions, so measure his height before your visit to know which attractions will be available to him. Once you have your list of must-do attractions, you can start to plan out your days to make the most of your time.
If you need any more tips to help plan your adventure, please stop by again!
