My kids have done Jedi Training a couple times and always end up fighting the Seventh Sister. Any tips on how to get Darth Vader instead, on our upcoming trip? They've always been slightly disappointed that they don't fight Darth Vader.

Bright suns, Melissa!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel on your way to a galaxy far, far away.

It sounds like the Force is strong with your family!  With the recent addition of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, as well as all of the other ways to experience the Star Wars universe at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I'm sure you are eagerly anticipating your upcoming visit.

My entire family also loves Star Wars, and my daughter has defeated the Dark Side several times at Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple.  When it comes to the villain that each youngling will face-off against, the selection is completely random, so there really is no way to give your kids a better chance of fighting Darth Vader.  However, I would recommend taking your young padawans to Star Wars Launch Bay.

Although character appearances are subject to change, currently, guests visiting Star Wars Launch Bay can encounter Darth Vader.  If your younglings do not have the opportunity to take on Darth Vader during Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, this would give them another chance to come face-to-face with the Dark Lord of the Sith.  I'm sure Lord Vader will find your children impressive... most impressive.

May the Force be with you!
