Hello! My kids are doing Pirates League (Pirate and Mermaid) after lunch... However, they may want to go swimming a few hours later. Do you know how "hardy" the PL make up is and if it is likely (more or less) to survive a trip to the pool?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question, Stacey!

The Pirate's League is such a fun and immersive experience for all fellow pirates and mermaids.  My own children have participated in the offerings there more than a few times!  In my personal experience, the make-up is similar to "regular" make-up.  In other words, it's not like stage make-up which would likely withstand the elements a bit more.  I like to book The Pirate's league on days when we don't plan on swimming mid-day.  If your children always need a mid-day break, maybe you could close the shades in your resort room and have a popcorn/movie party?  Just a thought!

    Enjoy your vacation, Stacey!

    Magically yours in 2018,
