Hiya Melanie,
You're as welcome as can be at planDisney. Sharing is caring, and I know your child and her adult chaperones are grateful for the opportunity to experience the magic of
Walt Disney World Resort together. Since children under 13 are unable to have their own
My Disney Experience accounts, let's go over the important steps to getting them and their information connected to the other members of their party.
Disney MagicMobile service is a convenient way to access the parks, scan into Lightning Lane reservations, link to Disney PhotoPass images, and more. The good news, Melanie, is that you can set up a Disney MagicMobile pass for anyone on your
Family and Friends list. I
outlined the steps to adding someone to your Family and Friends list for another Guest recently. Adding the adults to your Family and Friends list should automagically connect them to your child, though sometimes a call to the
My Disney Experience team is required. Once your child is visible in the other adults' My Disney Experience accounts, any or all of them can
follow these steps to create your child's MagicMobile pass in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. When accessing the MagicMobile pass in the parks, the designated adult should double click the side or home button of their device to open Apple Wallet. Then, like cards in a wallet, swipe to your child's pass to use it.
In my experience, MagicMobile is not 100% reliable in all circumstances. I like to have a backup plan, such as a
MagicBand or card, handy just in case. And make sure your child has a
Park Pass reservation in addition to their ticket.
I hope your Family and Friends have a great time on their visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Come back and see us at planDisney with any other questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
