I want to take my kids to a dinner with Cinderella either at the castle or at 1900 Park Fare. Which characters are actually present or does it occasionally change? I would like to know who attends each dinner before I make a final decision. Thanks.

If you are looking to interact with the characters, you should consider 1900 Park Fare.  Cinderella's Royal Table does not have any character interaction while you eat during dinner.  You do get to meet Cinderella and will receive a complementary photo with her as you enter the castle.  The Fairy Godmother and Suzy Mouse will each make an appearance, but only for a show.  You will not be able to meet them.  I have eaten here many times for dinner and the food is amazing and the castle is beautiful.  I try to get a reservations here each and every time we go to WDW.

1900 Park Fare has Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Wicked Step-Mother and Step-Sisters.  I have not personal attended 1900 Park Fare for dinner, but have encountered Lady Tremaine and daughters in the Magic Kingdom and they can be quite funny.  Here they will come to your table and you will have more character interaction than at Cinderella's Royal's Table.  I have eaten here for breakfast.  They always have good buffet choices and the service has been top notch.
