Can I get my kids’ dad a Florida resident discount pass if he hasn’t gotten a Florida ID yet but I do have one and am an annual passholder?

    Hello Christina!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! It's great to connect with a fellow Florida resident and Annual Passholder! I'm here to help with your question regarding the Florida resident discount for Walt Disney World Resort passes.

To receive the Florida resident discount, each adult must present proof of Florida residency. Unfortunately, if your kids' dad doesn't yet have a Florida ID or another form of acceptable proof of residency, he won't be able to take advantage of the Florida resident discount at this time. Since you already have a Florida ID, you're all set for your discount, but he would need to obtain similar proof to qualify.

Here's what counts as proof of residency aside from a Florida driver’s license or state ID:
    - Florida-based military ID
    - Current utility bill (no more than two months old)
    - Current Florida vehicle registration or title
    - Mail from financial institutions, including checking, savings, or investment account statements (no more than two months old)
    - Mail from Federal, State, County or City government agencies (no more than two months old)

Documents must include a Florida address and can be shown in a digital or paper format if a Florida driver’s license or state ID isn’t available.

I hope this information helps, Christina! If there’s anything else you need or any more questions you have as your visit approaches, feel free to reach out. Enjoy making magical memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
