My kids and I are coming to celebrate a college graduation. One is 24 and the other 19. We haven't been on vacation in 12 years. As they are young adults what would you suggest would be some can't miss things we should plan on doing? Thanks

    Hello Elisabeth,

Congratulations! I love this question as several years ago, I celebrated my own college graduation at Walt Disney World Resort! I remember it as if it was yesterday and you better believe the first person who asked what I was going to do next got an enthusiastic, "I'm going to Disney World!"

I am a firm believer that you are never too old for a day in Magic Kingdom Park, so I definitely still recommend spending some time there. You'll also be arriving for the last weekend of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. New this year, the event features world-class food, incredible art and Broadway-style entertainment. Even if you don't make the event, I think you all will enjoy strolling around World Showcase together. If you can splurge a little for a one-of-a-kind experience, I recommend the Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It's a 3-hour, VIP guided tour allowing you to get up close with many of the Safari animals followed by a private lunch. It's spectacular and definitely an experience you will all remember and cherish. Lastly, I recommend visiting Disney Springs for a little dinning, shopping and fun.

Make sure you stop by Guest Services to pick up your "I'm Celebrating" buttons and have a wonderful vacation, Elisabeth. If there is anything else I, or any of the other panelists, can help you plan, please let us know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
