My kids want to bring there electric razor scooter/motorcycle to the Fort Wilderness campground. they are like electric bicycles that look like a motorcycle. they want to ride on the paths and sidewalks for bicycles. any help would be great, thanks?

Hi Mike! We spend many weeks at Fort Wilderness each year. The fall is our favorite time but anytime we can enjoy the peacefulness of this resort's surroundings is the perfect time.

Your question is a little tough since you are talking about more then a typical electric scooter. The razor electric scooters are allowed on the Fort Wilderness sidewalks but definitely not allowed on the roads at any time. After researching this type of scooter/motorcycle you have mentioned I am not sure about the same rule as it appears to be quite large. The sidewalks are narrow and common courtesy must be given by all guests whether they are walking, running, with pets, on bikes, or scooters. With a larger then normal scooter on these paths it might become more hazardous for everyone since there are curves and turns everywhere. Safety is the number one priority for Disney and each year they must assess the rules and figure out what is in the best interest of all guests.

Because I am not completely familiar with this exact vehicle you mention, as you state it looks like a motorcycle and those would certainly not be allowed on sidewalks, I strongly suggest you call directly to Fort Wilderness and talk with the cast member manager on duty before packing these for your trip. The number for the resort is 407-824-2837 and use the menu option 1 to reach the front desk. Ask for a manager as that way you will have someone who can assist you on the definite answer to this question.

If all goes ok perhaps I will see your children enjoying these fun electric scooters around the campground.
