Hi
Stacey! I will be happy to answer your question. I can recommend Disney's All-Star Resorts and Disney's Pop Century Resort. These four Disney resorts are in the Value Resort category offering guests great affordability with bigger than life Disney theming. Each value resort has its own individual charm, but my personal favorite is
Disney's Pop Century Resort. As of this writing, Disney's Pop Century Resort has dedicated bus service. In other words, it doesn't share transportation with other resorts making for shorter waits while in transit. The All-Star Resorts share buses among the three sister resorts, All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports. Therefore, Disney's Pop Century Resort would be my recommendation in the Value Resort category.
In addition, any of
Disney's Moderate Resorts would be wonderful options too. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort features rooms decorated in a subtle Finding-Nemo theme while a limited-quantity are Pirate-themed. Another option is Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (CSR). CSR's guest rooms are divided into three districts, Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort provide all the comforts of home and the best the outdoors have to offer. Disney's Port Orleans Riverside (POR) and Port Orleans French Quarter (PORFQ) are sister resorts. Some POR rooms are housed in plantation-style mansions while others feature rustically decorated Cajun-style accommodations. PORFQ is themed after the famed New Orleans French Quarter and my recommendation for its compact layout and whimsically themed pool.
Regardless of which resort you pick, I'm certain your family will enjoy a memorable vacation at the Walt Disney Resort!
