    We want to take kids to beach close to AKL, looking for some sea shells . Only have 6-8 hrs. to do so . This trip will be the only one in a long time. So we would like the kids to find a couple shells. Any ideals which one would be the best bet ? Thanks

    Hi Kelly!

    I recommend driving over to Canaveral National Seashore at Cape Canaveral on the Atlantic Ocean.  It's operated by the U.S. National Park Service and is a beautiful beach.  My children have been successful there in collecting seashells in the past.  In fact if you google "Canaveral National Seashore seashells", you can see a guide to the kind of seashells you can find there.

    It's about an hour and a half drive from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to Canaveral National Seashore, but it's an easy drive with most of it being a straight line to the coast.
