    My kids are ages 11, 7 and 4. Will the 11 year old be able to go to the same youth clubs as his younger siblings?

    Hey there, Greg!

    That sounds familiar. Your kids are about the same age as our kids were when our family drove from Utah to Vancouver, Canada to board the Disney Wonder for our first cruise. We love the magical memories made during that amazing Alaskan cruise.

    Here are the ages set up for the Disney Cruise Line youth clubs:

    During times of regular club programming, only registered youth of the specific eligible ages may remain in the spaces of each respective youth club. Those age ranges are strictly applied. But that doesn't mean your children must remain segregated throughout your entire cruise. There will be many opportunities for them to enjoy spending time together.

    Here are some ways your children may choose to spend time together during your family cruise:

    • Open Houses. Each of the youth clubs will have Open House times scheduled throughout your cruise when children, and even parents and other adults, may explore the amenities and activities of the various youth clubs. I love visiting the clubs to marvel at the many exciting ways Imagineers have created beautiful spaces of fantasy, adventure, and imagination.
    • Family Activities. Check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for times and locations of a huge variety of activities open for all ages where family members of all ages can attend together for a memorable time.
    • Public Spaces. From the pools, to movie theaters, to the sports deck and so much more, there are many open spaces throughout the ship where children or even the whole family can gather to enjoy activities that make cruising special.

    Of course, don't forget rotational dining and the Broadway-style entertainment. My family's favorite parts of cruising are eating dinner, attending shows in the Walt Disney Theater, and family craft activities. I'm confident you and your children will enjoy many of the available activities together. But be warned! Disney cruises are very addictive. After 14 cruises and at least four more future cruises already booked, we love the way our cruises help us bond together and enjoy a magical feeling while on vacation.
