hi, we have 3 kids ages 9, 6, and 4. we are traveling on may 27 - june 2 we are staying off site my question is im planning to stay 1 day per park but i also want to go to the blizzar beach water park. should i buy 4 magic your way n add water park? or 5d?

    Dear La:

Keep in mind that the 5-day base ticket is for the theme parks only, so going from the 4-day base ticket to the 5-day, even though it is much cheaper than purchasing the Water Park Fun & More option, will not get you into Blizzard Beach, unfortunately.

The Water Park Fun & More Option at a cost of $52 plus tax, though, is probably one of the best values Disney offers.  When one visit to Blizzard Beach costs $47.93 for adults and $42.54 for children 3 to 9, for a few dollars more you can get in another day and another day and another day!

Here's how it works: When you add this option to your base ticket, it adds an equal number of visits to the water parks, etc.  For example, if you purchase the Water Park Fun & More Option on a 4-day base ticket, you will receive 4 visits to Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex or DisneyQuest, not to mention a round of golf at Oak Trail.  You'll receive 5 visits to these options with a 5-day base ticket and so on.

Depending on when you're arriving on the 27th and leaving on the 2nd, you may find that having the three extra visits may be a good way to spend an extra $8 or so per person....

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
