Welcome to planDisney, David.
Space 220 at
EPCOT is a very cool experience. I had the pleasure of dining here with some friends last year. It really does feel like you're traveling to outer space for some galactic grub. I'm sure your kids will be mesmerized looking out the window as they eat. It's quite a unique view!
David, unfortunately, the children's menu is only available to children under the age of 10. Since the menu at Space 220 is prix fixe for both lunch and dinner, Guests aged 10 and over are required to select an appetizer (Lift Offs), entree (Star Course), and dessert (Super Nova Sweet). If you think your kids are too fussy for the prix fix, Space 220 might not be the restaurant for them. Another option is to forgo making a
dining reservation and try to join the wait list for the restaurant's lounge. This area is first-come, first-served and you can purchase snacks and cocktails. This is a good option if your main goal is to experience the restaurant, but your kids are not all that fussed about the food. I recommend going to the restaurant early in the day to put your name down on the list.
I hope that's helpful, David. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
