Hi Rachel,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can imagine the excitement in your house as you plan your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
My family loves Epcot and Animal Kingdom so it is hard for me to choose one! At Animal Kingdom, my girls love riding Kilimanjaro Safaris. We also adore the Festival of the Lion King Show and DINOSAUR. At Animal Kingdom, we also like to take a play break at The Boneyard, a play area for kids.
Pandora - The World of Avatar is scheduled to open in late May. I absolutely would not miss this experience! Of course, there are several
Character Experiences at Animal Kingdom. I still remember our girls when they saw Mickey Mouse for the first time at Animal Kingdom. We snapped a picture of one of them with her mouth wide open and hands on her head in disbelief.
Epcot remains a must-do park for us because of the many options for children of all ages. Our girls love
Innoventions. There are several interactive games that we love to play. At Epcot, you could also ride Frozen Ever After, Journey into Imagination with Figment, Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Spaceship Earth and Turtle Talk with Crush. Of course, there are a number of
Character Experiences at Epcot. Visiting Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus is a must-do if you have Frozen fans!
Be sure to double-check the height requirements for all attractions.
Of course, you know your family best! I hope this helps you make a decision.
Happy Planning!
