I want my kids to be able to see the plans we have while we are there. How can I make that happen with the app?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heather!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins tomorrow!!!  Are you too excited to sleep??

I'll be happy to help you get all your last-minute details into place.  Since you didn't mention how old your children are or how you might have set up your My Disney Experience account(s), I am going to assume your kids are old enough that they have their own mobile devices and perhaps might be spending time exploring the theme parks without you.  If I am way off base, please feel free to write us back and provide some more details about your situation.

In my family, even though my "kids" are all now teens and adults, I am the only person with a My Disney Experience account and I am the person who manages all our plans.  So far, that has worked out well for our family.  I will usually take screenshots of our FastPass+ and dining reservations and send them in a group message to everyone.  In chatting with some of my Moms Panel friends, that is what many of us do.  I have also had my family members log in to my account on their devices, with the understanding that they are not allowed to mess with mama's carefully made plans!  My fellow panelists had a few other suggestions as well.  Angie uses a shared calendar on her family's phones.  She will add calendar items for FastPass+ and dining reservations so everyone can see those.  Amy sometimes creates a Google Doc that can be updated on the fly and shared with everyone.  She also screenshots the day's plans and will AirDrop them to her daughter's iPod.

If your children are at least 13 years old, they may create their own My Disney Experience accounts.  You can then invite them to connect with you through your Family & Friends list.  Be sure to invite them using the emails that were used to create the accounts.  That will allow the plans you have made to show up in their accounts.  Samantha recently shared her advice to another Guest about creating a new My Disney Experience account for a teen.

I hope that helps!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions.  Have a wonderful vacation!
