I have 2 kiddos with special needs and 1 of them has dietary restrictions. We want to do a character breakfast this trip? Which one is best between Goofys and Storytellers? Thank you!

    Hello, Michelle,

From one parent of special needs children to another, I'm happy to say that a Character Dining experience is a wonderful treat to share with your family. Other than the recently-started Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures, we have had the pleasure of experiencing all of these wonderful offerings. We love the fun interactions with some of our favorite characters. And the vast array of foods make my mouth water just thinking about it! Between Breakfast and Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen and Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Cafe, our favorite has been Goofy's Kitchen. You may enjoy it's more spacious layout. I like that Goofy's Kitchen offers the flexibility of either breakfast or dinner. And with the addition of a buffet area that is geared specifically to young children, Goofy's Kitchen is great for meeting the needs of our children. In fact, when I took my daughter on a special daddy-daughter trip to Disneyland last year, Goofy's Kitchen was her only request for dining experiences.

No matter which restaurant you choose, when making reservations, be sure to note food allergies and other special dietary needs. When you arrive at the restaurant, ask to speak with the chef or restaurant manager about appropriate options. A dining staff member will be able to point out delicious foods suitable for your Mouseketeers.

    Bon appétit, Michelle!
