Where is the kiddie splash pad at Caribbean beach resort? Which building should we book to be closest to that and a playground?

Hi, Jennifer! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Having stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort with my then 3-year-old, I can tell you that the splash pad area is GREAT! It is located near the main pool at Old Port Royale Centertown. If you have booked a preferred room at this Disney Resort hotel, you will be close to this area. The closest buildings would be Trinidad North (building 31), Martinique (buildings 25 & 26), as well as Jamaica (building 45) across the bridge. During online check-in, you can usually make location requests, but keep in mind that these are requests only. In the past, I have also sent a fax directly to the Disney Resort hotel requesting a specific location and I have had great success so far. I suggest sending your fax approximately 4 days before your check-in.

Something important to note is that starting in May of 2017, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will be undergoing quite a makeover and some sections might be closed, including Old Port Royale Food Court. However, there will be a variety of dining options for Guests.

I hope you have a magical time!
