Hi! Has Kidani Village 1 bedroom upgraded their coffee makers yet? Also, what is the best way to get from Kidani to Fort Wilderness. Thank you!

Jambo, Tami! Thanks so much for making a return trip to planDisney with another excellent question. It's a great day to chat about all things Disney Vacation Club and I'm happy to help with planning for your next magical adventure!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village for the first time and it was everything I hoped!  We spent a lovely afternoon on our Savanna View balcony watching the wildlife and enjoyed more than one meal at Sanaa, which is one of our family's all-time favorites.

To get the details for your coffeemaker query, I reached out to Member Services, who confirmed that the 1-Bedroom Villas (and everything larger) have 12-cup drip coffeemakers. There will be a starter pack of coffee and supplies waiting for you--if you need more, simply use the "Hey Disney" device in your room to request a refill!

As for your travel needs, the answer is in the palm of your hand! There is a super handy feature in the My Disney Experience app that will show you multiple options to travel via Disney transportation between Kidani Village and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Here's how to access this magical tool:
    • From the home screen, select the three lines at lower right (the "hamburger" icon).
    • Scroll down to "Getting Around", then select "Transportation & Parking".
    • A map will come up with icons for different transportation options. Select any of these and there will be a prompt saying "Get Directions". From here, simply type in your Point A and Point B and you'll be on your way.

When I plugged in Kidani and Fort Wilderness, the app directed me to take a bus from Kidani to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and then board a bus bound for Fort Wilderness. You can also catch a polka-dotted ride with Minnie Van Service, which can be booked in the Lyft app and will pick you up for an express trip to your destination!

Tami, I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing trip--your arrival is just around the riverbend! If you have any additional questions as your vacation draws near, please reach out anytime. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney!
