Hi Eduardo Henrique, welcome to planDisney!
I’m excited to hear you’re interested in participating in a runDisney event! I always enjoy the runDisney races and as a mom I can understand the desire to experience the excitement of a race weekend with my children.
According to the
runDisney Race Policies, baby joggers, baby strollers, and baby carriers are among the list of prohibited items on the runDisney courses. It is possible to register for the runDisney events as an Athlete with Disability, but all participants must meet the age, safety, and equipment requirements of the specific race.
You can register as an athlete with a disability during general race registration. On the registration form there is a section to indicate you’d like to register as an athlete with a disability followed by a drop-down menu where you can indicate which division you will participate in. These divisions include Push Rim Wheelchair, Hand Cycle Exhibition, Wheelchair Duo (consisting of a runner/walker pushing a non-ambulatory person with a disability in a customized wheelchair designed for road racing), and those with a disability that requires navigation or safety assistance from a Human Guide. To submit a special request or if you have any questions about using another device, you can use the
Contact Us page on the runDisney website to receive guidance from runDisney.
I hope this helps, Eduardo Henrique! Registration has opened for 2026
Springtime Surprise Weekend already, and we’re awaiting future announcements about the 2026-2027 runDisney event schedule! The schedule is usually shared on
Disney Parks Blog and
runDisney social media, so follow along if you aren’t already! If you have any more questions, send them our way at
planDisney!
