Hi Mari Esta! When anyone asks about things being "kid" friendly at Walt Disney World they must realize that just about everything and everyone is "kid" friendly at this vacation destination. There is only one restaurant on property that has an age limitation and all resorts welcome children of all ages.
You will find some tours that have age restrictions and much of that is because they will take guests behind the scenes. Disney works hard not to ruin that special magic with their guests especially the younger ones.
The
Port Orleans Riverside Resort is actually my favorite moderate resort on property. I love the atmosphere and the lay out of the property. Some buildings are further away but the internal bus system seems to run as smoothly as any resort. The amenities are wonderful for families as there is ample food choices as well as pools. You will find many choices of
Recreation at this resort that includes carriage rides, playgrounds, movies under the stars, bike and surrey rentals and much more.
The resort rooms have the little fun touches with hidden Mickey's interspersed in the decor. This is also one of the few resorts that are connected to Disney Springs via boat which is a fun way to make your way to a great area of shopping and dining.
Children are welcome at all the Disney resorts and I would not be able to say one is more "kid" friendly over another. Children as well as adults will fall in love with the Port Orleans Riverside.
