Hi Margarita, thanks for coming back to see me at planDisney!
I understand your concern about enjoying your Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your little pup! I reached out to a Cast Member regarding your question and got a little more clarification on the
Pet Policies and what happens if a puppy gets rowdy.
If the dog is barking and the Resort determines it to be a concern, you will be contacted and asked to address the barking within a certain timeframe. If barking continues to be an issue, each situation is handled on a case-by-case basis by Resort management who will discuss your options with you at that time.
I’m sure your puppy will be “paws”itively perfect, Margarita! But if you would be more comfortable knowing your pup is getting all the attention they need while you’re enjoying the theme parks, one of my fellow panelists recommended
Best Friends Pet Hotel, which you can use for daytime or overnight boarding. Best Friend Pet Hotel even offers group play time for the dogs, which may help your puppy get some energy out during the day, so everyone is ready for bedtime when you return to your hotel room. And my fellow panelist shared a tip that they always offer an add-on treat, which is usually holiday themed if you are visiting at that time of year! If you choose to visit Best Friends Pet Care, be sure to check on their required documentation for your dog before your stay.
I hope you and your precious pup have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Margarita! Thanks for visiting me at planDisney!
