Will you get kicked out fir extra magic hours if you are not in a Disney resort

Hi Becky! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be SO excited to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this upcoming week! What a wonderful time to visit with Christmas decorations and festive events all around "The Most Magical Place on Earth." I can't think of a better way to kick off the holiday season!

Extra Magic Hours are reserved for Guests that are staying at Disney Resort hotels. It is one of the many amazing benefits that Guests staying on Walt Disney World Resort property receive! As a Guest not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you will be directed to exit the theme park once normal operating hours have ended. Cast Members will be posted at attraction entrances and/or around the theme park to have Guests scan their MagicBands or tickets to verify that they are Guests of a Disney Resort hotel.

Even though you won't have access to the theme parks during Extra Magic Hours, you will still have a lot of time to enjoy your day! My family likes to arrive at the theme parks early because we have found we can accomplish a lot before the theme parks get crowded.

Enjoy your vacation, Becky! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
