Hello, what kichen equipment can I expect at Bay Lake Towers? I am mostly concered about dishes, silverware and glasses.

    Hiya David!

Welcome to planDisney.  Are you getting excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation?  Your stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is just around the corner!

While specific amenities vary depending on room type, I'm happy to report that you can expect to find all the basic kitchen items you'll need when you arrive at Bay Lake Tower.  If you're staying in a Deluxe Studio, your room will include a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, as well as a full selection of Joffrey's Coffee & Tea supplies and disposable cups, plates, and utensils.  If you're making a 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom, or 3-Bedroom Grand Villa your home-away-from-home during your stay, your room will feature a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, stove and oven combo, and full-sized refrigerator, as well as an in-room washer and dryer.  In these kitchens, you'll find a full compliment of pots and pans, coffee supplies, dishes, glassware, and utensils.  And should you need extra disposable or coffee items, you can request more by placing a quick call to Housekeeping during your stay.

And since your suitcase won't be full of kitchen items, you'll have plenty of room for an extra souvenir or two from The World's Most Magical Celebration!  Commemorating all the excitement of these once-in-a-lifetime festivities, the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary merchandise collections have something for everyone –– from EARidescent spirit jerseys, to castle-inspired collectables, and much more.  If you love vintage Walt Disney World memorabilia like me, you won't want to miss the Vault Collection, which is packed with ultra-cool items from The Walt Disney Archives that will make you feel like you're right there on opening day.  Be sure to check it out!

Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question, David.  If you think of more questions as your trip approaches, feel free to stop back by –– we're always here to help!
