What is the keys to the world card and do I have to use it or can i just pay for things with cash and gift cards?

    Hi Katelyn!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

The Key To The World Card is issued to each member of your travel party upon check in, if staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. This all-in-one card will serve as your room key, your park ticket, your Disney Dining Plan (if applicable) and your resort room charge card, if you choose to have it function as such. During check in, the Cast Member processing your arrival will ask you if you'd like to assign a credit card to your account to use for charging privileges in the parks. You can also choose to complete the assignment of a credit card during online check in prior to your arrival if you choose.

Should you prefer not to have charging privileges on your Key To The World Card(s), that's fine! You're more than welcome to use your own Disney Gift Cards, cash, credit or debit cards for purchases made in the parks and all around Walt Disney World's resorts, restaurants and retail locations.

Please feel free to write back if you have additional questions. I'd love to hear from you again!
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Katelyn!
