Are the key to the world cards still used instead of magic bands? If so, how do you get them?

    Hiya, Susan!

Welcome back to planDisney! I am delighted to see that you have a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth coming up so soon. This summer is an amazing time to visit. The World's Most Magical Celebration is still going strong and the newest attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, is opening. I hope you are ready for the best trip ever!

I am happy to report that you can pick up a Key to the World card at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort Collection hotel room when you arrive. These cards work similar to a MagicBand, offering convenient access to your hotel room and theme park tickets. If you are looking for additional MagicBand alternatives, you can also set up Disney MagicMobile Service through the My Disney Experience app. You can use this digital pass to enter the parks, connect to your Disney PhotoPass pictures, unlock your hotel room door, and so much more! This digital service works similar to MagicBands or cards and only takes a few moments to set up on your smart device.

Before your arrival, be sure to make your Disney Park Pass reservations if you have not already crossed this must-do item off of your vacation to-do list. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Some dates may have limited reservation availability due to popularity, so don't delay. Make your Park Pass reservations today!

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
