Hiya, Susan! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! It sounds like you’re planning another fabulous visit to
Walt Disney World! One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World is that while there is always something new and exciting to explore, there are still those same familiar classic attractions to revisit each and every time you’re there. Isn’t it just so special to walk around and reminisce about the fun you had on previous vacations?
Speaking of classics, if you plan to visit any time before March 31st, 2023, you'll get to enjoy
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration. So, make sure you stop by some of the attractions that were open on opening day in 1971! What a fun way to experience the magic as it was back on that historic day. My personal favorite has got to be
"it's a small world." It doesn't get more classic than that!
I’m so glad you held onto your ticket from 2002 because you can absolutely use any unused days from your ticket on your upcoming visit! Such great news, right, Susan?
Walt Disney World continues to honor tickets purchased before 2004 that did not expire, so all you’ll need to do is reach out to the Existing Tickets team at (407) 934-7639. Here, one of the fabulous Cast Members will be happy to review your ticket, let you know if there are any remaining days on it, and convert it to a ticket that can be linked to your My Disney Experience account. Alternatively, you can also request information on how many days are left on your Theme Park cards by sending an email over to Ticket.Usage@DisneyWorld.com. Just be sure to include a photocopy of the front and back of the ticket, your name, and a daytime phone number, and a Cast Member will get back to you with more information.
I am just so excited for you to visit Walt Disney World. You've got such an incredible adventure ahead of you! But, of course, with so much going on, you're bound to have some questions as you continue planning your vacation, so
please visit us again soon if there is anything else we can help you with!
Happy Planning!
