    Hi Moms. I kept coming across questions about category seating to dinner shows. I booked Fantasmic and Ohana, however, it does not show which category I will be sitting in. Do I need to call and request certain seating category? Thanks!

    Hi Van!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    Category is really important for some of the dinner shows, such as the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, but not for dinner at Ohana or the Fantasmic Dinner Package!

    At Ohana, you will just be assigned a table upon check-in just like when visiting any regular full service restaurant.  However, there are some tables in the main room and I would recommend requesting that when you check-in.  I just think it is more exciting to be in the main room.

    For the Fantasmic Dinner Package, you dine at the restaurant you signed up for.  Then at the end of the meal, you will be given a ticket for Fantasmic!  You take that ticket to Fantasmic! and that will allow you to enter the reserved seating section of Fantasmic!  The reserved seating section is first come - first served, so I recommend going early to get a good seat.  I suggest showing up about 30 minutes before show time, even with a ticket for the reserved seating.
