How do you keep track of how many dining, quick service meals and snacks are left on your account?

Hey howdy hey, Michelle, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you've stopped by our neck of the woods to ask this great question about your dining plan. Your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner, and I'd bet you're super excited! Let's dive in!

I recently returned home from a family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort with my family. We were so excited to try out the Disney Dining Plan, and it did not disappoint! The updates to how meals and snacks are tracked have made everything so much easier, and checking on your dining plan has never been easier.

All you need to to is open the My Disney Experience Mobile App, and click on the "≡" icon at the bottom right corner of your screen. Click on the box that says "Resort Hotel" and then scroll down until you see "Check Dining Plan." There, you'll see a listing of all your remaining snacks, meals, and resort refillable mugs. It will be broken down by kids and adult meals, as well as table service and quick service meals. You can also see a summary of all past purchases and who charged them. And, when you get a receipt after making a dining purchase, you'll see a list at the bottom with your remaining meals and snacks.

Michelle, don't forget to make some Advance Dining Reservations for table service restaurants before your visit. While many locations do offer a walk-up list, I love the comfort of knowing I've secured my seat at the table in advance. I like having a table service meal for each day I'm in the theme parks, so I can have a little time to relax with my family and recharge for the rest of the day.

Another thing that you might find helpful is Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering via the My Disney Experience App. I like to place a mobile order when I'm in a queue for an attraction, so all I have to do is check in when I arrive at the restaurant. The app will be super helpful as you place the order, because it will remind you to complete your meal by adding an entree as well as a beverage, since it's included with your dining plan. You can also place a mobile order for snacks at many dining locations!

Please head on back to planDisney with any other questions you have about your upcoming vacation. If you need great recommendations for snacks, meals, and beverages, I'm your girl!

    See ya real soon!
