How do you keep track of your dining credits? Also are you still able to use a fast service for three snacks for instance when in Epcot and the festivals? Thanks!

    Hiya Michele!

Welcome to planDisney! Today is the day that dining plans return! I'm so excited as I am a big fan and hope to get a chance to use it this year. I love being able to say "yes!" to yummy snacks and know that it is prepaid for.

The best way to keep track of your meals and snacks is to go to your My Disney Experience Mobile App and on the opening page, you will see your Resort listed. Click on "My Resort" and you will scroll down till you see an icon of a clipboard with a fork and knife that says "Check Dining Plan." Every time you use a meal or snack you will see an update on the app with what is left. People who have already started using the plan today have found it to be very clear to use and straightforward even when using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering!

Unfortunately, unlike how it was in the past, a Quick-Service Meal cannot be broken up into three Snacks. This was confirmed by Cast Members. I do agree though, that buying food from the Festivals at EPCOT is a great way to use your dining plan. Just look for the DDP purple logo next to the food item and you know it's covered. My top tip with using the dining plan- especially regarding snacks is to only spend it on items that are of high value. I have used my snack redemption to purchase a bagel breakfast. Getting the best value gives me such thrills!

I'm betting that by the time you arrive, you will have a chance to enjoy my favorite Festival. EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is beautiful because it truly captures the glory of spring. More details have yet to come out but I think you will love using your dining plan at the Outdoor Kitchens! The Disney Parks Blog will be the place to look for updates!

I hope this helps and hope you have a delicious time!

    Happy Planning!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
