Hi Michelle!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you found us hEAR, and thank you for asking this excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.
I'm also a parent of a
Mouseketeer, and very much a notorious overpacker, so whew, do I understand where you're coming from in asking this question.
Disney Resort Hotel guests with personal strollers are asked to keep them inside their guest rooms for safety and security purposes.
Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels and Villas mainly feature rooms that face internal hallways, and while I have seen some rooms attempt to leave strollers and ECVs in these halls, these guests are asked to bring these items in to their rooms, and usually this request is made in the middle of the night. In addition to safety reasons,
Disney Value and Moderate Resort Hotels mostly have rooms with doors that open to outdoor walkways, and there are a lot of critters who call Walt Disney World Resort property their home. The ducks who live inside the theme parks love munching on dropped popcorn, but you've never seen an animal more excited in searching for a snack than a lizard or squirrel on (or in) a stroller.
I've stayed in all three resort hotel categories with my son, and I've found the perfect place to store his stroller is just behind the hotel room door. Another solution to save on space would be to
rent a stroller from the Disney Theme Parks as you can pick them up when you get there and drop them off when you're done. Another bonus to renting is you don't have to worry about folding or holding a stroller when boarding
a Disney Bus, Boat, or the brand new
Disney Skyliner!
I hope this helped to plan your upcoming Disney Days, Michelle, and We'll See You Real Soon!
