Hi, Stacey!  It's great to see you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm so excited to hEAR that your granddaughter will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort for the first time!  Be sure to pick up a complimentary "First Visit" button for her at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or any Guest Relations location.  I'm sure you're going to make many magical memories during this grand adventure.  Be sure to purchase Memory Maker to help you relive those moments for yEARs to come.

I think it's wonderful that you and your family are planning to stay right in the middle of the magic at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.  There is something to love about each of the unique resort hotels found at The Most Magical Place on Earth, so I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them.  That being said, I'd be happy to offer my opinion to help you find a resort hotel that will be practically perfect in every way for your granddaughter's first visit.

Disney's Pop Century Resort is probably my favorite resort hotel in the value category.  In fact, I am planning to stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort in November.  I love the modern look and efficient use of space in the recently refurbished rooms at this resort hotel.  While I'm sure your granddaughter would have a lovely stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort, when it comes to a value resort that's great for the entire family, you can't beat Disney's Art of Animation Resort!

I think your granddaughter would love the theming at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  Walking through this resort hotel, you feel as if you've entered the worlds of your favorite animated movies!  The spacious family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort are perfect for vacations with the whole family.  I'm sure your granddaughter would love The Big Blue Pool, the largest resort hotel swimming pool at Walt Disney World Resort.

Speaking of pools, if you plan to spend a lot of time during your summer vacation poolside, you may want to consider a resort hotel in the moderate category.  Unlike the value resorts, the moderate resort hotel pools have water slides that your granddaughter might enjoy.

My favorite resort hotel in the moderate category is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  Compared to other resort hotels, this property is much smaller, making it quick and easy to navigate.  This resort hotel offers a peaceful, laid-back vibe after a busy day at the theme parks, not to mention the delicious beignets!

No matter which resort hotel you decide on, you will receive the same amazing benefits, so I'm sure you will be very happy with your home away from home.  If you have any additional questions, stop by to visit us again.  See ya real soon!
