I keep reading Dad guide to WDW and that's all he talks about is families with children. Is Disneyworld just for families with kids? I thought anyone could go and be a kid again. I don't get the impression he does. I would like to go but don't know.

    Hi Margaret ~

There are a lot of wonderful blogs about Disney and many people often write about the way they currently visit Disney World. I have literally been going to Disney since it opened in 1971 so I have experienced it in many different ways (as a child going with my parents; as a single adult; solo; as a married adult; as a Mom with my kids; and as a Mom going without my kids). And guess what? I have loved every single trip! Each trip is unique and different. Disney is absolutely for adults just as much as it is for kids. It is for the young and the young at heart.

There are so many ways to experience Disney. The magic even goes beyond the theme parks. When I go without my kids, I love experiencing the adult side of Disney by doing behind the scene tours, enjoying fine dining locations, and relaxing with an adult beverage. There are also first class spas, romantic spots, and adult nightlife. But I also love being a kid again and riding all of the thrill rides that my kids are not too fond of yet. Will I go on Dumbo without my kids? Wear an Ear Hat when traveling only with adults? Sit on a bench and enjoy a Mickey Ear Ice Cream? You bet! There is a part of me that will never grow up.

I encourage you to go to Disney World. You will see lots of other Guests visiting without kids. It is magical for everyone at every age and every ability. We are happy to assist you by answering your questions and giving you suggestions that will create a one of a kind adventure for you. So don't wait another minute - plan a trip! We are hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
