Hi Maritza!
So happy to have you here at planDisney! It is truly an incredible feeling to have a Walt Disney World vacation on the calendar, right? As awesome as that is, I'd have to say that it feels even better when that Disney trip has been paid in full. Then my focus can turn to anticipating all the fun that's always a part of our time with Mickey Mouse and friends!
Depending on what you are trying to make payments towards, the answer could be yes or no. For instance, Guests can make
partial payments towards a Disney vacation package. The
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line has Cast Members waiting to assist you with payments for a vacation package. Or you can choose to make the final payment for your package
online.
If you are wanting to make partial payments towards theme park tickets, that is a different story. Those must be paid in full at the time of purchase. There’s a very good reason why you want to have the ticket component of your vacation set up as soon as possible: Walt Disney World currently requires a
Disney Park Pass reservation for every day you plan on visiting a theme park, and those Park Pass reservations can only be made once you have the park tickets linked in your
My Disney Experience account.
Even though I know you are probably super excited about spending time in the parks, I always like to encourage Guests include some time to relax and unwind in their plans. My kids remember the times when we would just hang out at our resort pool and take a breather from the theme parks as the highlights of our trips. If anything, I found that it reinvigorated them and they were even more enthusiastic when we went back to the theme parks in the evenings.
Maritza, I hope you are more eager than ever for your Walt Disney World vacation. Feel free to send planDisney more great questions as you get closer to your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
See ya real soon!
Sherry
