Hi Megan,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your really great question! Your trip is in just a few days, can you feel the magic?
Even if you aren’t staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, I suggest leaving your luggage at the front desk of your hotel. If you’re heading to the Theme Parks the day you check out, you’ll want to make sure that you leave the Theme Parks with enough time to grab your luggage from your hotel and get your transportation to the airport.
Keep in mind,
Magic Kingdom and
EPCOT have
Jumbo Lockers, which could store certain types of bags you bring into the Theme Park, but they won’t fit a checked luggage bag for example. You might want to take a look at the
measurements and also at the lockers early in your trip. Remember, lockers are on a first-come, first-served basis, so you'll want to be there early. You can also speak to
Guest Services during your trip, tell them about how your final day will work, and see if they have any other options.
A final option could be to visit
Disney Springs, instead of the Theme Parks, on the final day of your vacation. Though it may take some strategy, you can keep your luggage with you as you’re walking around. You won’t need to pay for a locker, you can browse a bit, then catch a ride to the airport via a rideshare or taxi service.
As you’re planning to get the most out of your days on vacation, remember to use the
My Disney Experience mobile app. You can create
Disney MagicMobile passes for easy Theme Park entry, utilize mobile ordering, and see all the attraction wait times in the palm of your hand!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you plan the final stages of your Walt Disney World vacation.
